Alfredo Sauce

Delicious and pretty close in taste to the restaurant chains' Alfredo sauces. You have to try it for yourself. Amazing!


Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions

 Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in parsley and serve.               

TIPS:
1. You can use margarine for butter and homogenized milk for the cream.
2. Whisk while you mixing the cream with the butter as well as the cheese for smooth consistency.
3. Don't boil or the sauce will separate.
